Keogh’s obsession for the United State's "McMansion" architecture style is seen in her painting of her childhood home in Phoenix, Arizona. In this style, the goal is to make a house appear like a mansion from the outside, while the inside remains quite small and cheaply constructed. Harkins of the style include 3 car garages and columns with no structural purpose. During the 2008 economic recession entire neighborhoods of these houses were foreclosed upon or construction halted. Keogh’s work to exist in a space where analog interrupts digital. 'Photoshop like' grids or gradients from Microsoft Paint are often seen throughout her paintings.
